SBC Communications and Yahoo! Introduce Music Unlimited Service

This is cool news for all you music lovers (who happen to be SBC Yahoo! DSL customers).

They are going to offer unlimited downloads for 4.99 per month with a yearly subscription. I don't know what the library is like but it is supposed to contain over one million titles. Plus you will be able to listen to commercial free premium radio stations, and compile your own libraries, plus transfer songs to a portable device.

Here is the story:

SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE: SBC) and Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) today announced the availability of the groundbreaking Yahoo! Music Unlimited service to SBC Yahoo! DSL customers. SBC Yahoo!® Music Unlimited provides music fans with virtually unlimited music downloads at only $4.99 a month for an annual subscription or $6.99 on a monthly basis.

The service also allows users to play tunes from a catalog of more than 1 million songs, transfer tracks to portable devices, as well as enjoy the unique ability to share and discover music with friends through SBC Yahoo! Messenger. SBC Yahoo! Music Unlimited enables subscribers to build personalized music libraries, purchase discounted downloads, listen to commercial-free Internet radio stations and access their subscription service from any Internet-connected computer.
